1. What are your methods of payment?
We can accept payment by PayPal, credit card (Master card or Visa, over the phone) or company check written to "Pictured Events".
PayPal does accept all major credit cards, and you do not need to create a PayPal account to use this service.
2. May I decide how the product(s) should be photographed? (what style or color background etc.)
White is the ideal color for making your products really jump off of the page. But we can use any background color you like at a small additional charge. We prefer to have a personal discussion with all of our clients, by phone or in person before the product shoot. This way we can discuss your expectations and goals. Ultimately, the decision is yours.
Although we will definitely have recommendations of our own, we are here to work for you and not vice versa. Need a product stylist or artist? We have that too!
3. How do you deliver my product photo(s)?
Your photos will be posted to our secure website for you to approve and dowload. We will store the images online for up to two months and archive them after that.
We can also provide your images on a CD or DVD for an additional charge if you wish.
4. What is your turn around time?
Turn around time is normally three to five business days from the day that we receive your product(s). If you need your photos faster than that, please contact us,
so we can discuss the possibility of putting a rush on your order.
5. Do you guarantee my satisfaction?
If you are not 100% satisfied with the images you receive, we will photograph them again at no charge to you. If for some reason you are still not happy,
just agree that you will not use the images, and you will not be charged for them.
6. Can I specify a specific size for my photos?
We understand that you need to fit your product photos into a very specific place on your website or catalog. Tell us what size you would like for your images to be, and we will post them in that size.
Plus you can also send us the URL of the page the product photo(s) will be posted on and we'll call to discuss the ideal image size needed. Specifics like Amazon? Yes, we are an Amazon product photographer!
7. Will the files I download be printable?
No. The files that you download are created for the web and will not look as good printed as it will on a monitor. Printable files for catalogs and other media are available on CD or DVD and can be worked into your quote as needed.
8. How are your prices so much lower than those of other product photography studios?
A section of our studio is already set up to take photos of small to medium sized products against a white background. Saving us time and labor. We also want to cater to this type of much needed photography due to an ever growing demand for great product photography on the web.
Our quality is as good or better than other studios that charge twice as much. Even our "mobile" product photography service is less expensive than most studios and your products never leave your sight.
9. What type of products do you shoot?
Name the product and we will shoot it! We have experience in shooting a large variety of products both large and small. We shoot within our studio and on location.
10. How much does product photography cost?
There are many variables in any project; the cost of your product photography depends on the particulars of the assignment. We utilize our pricing guidelines to give you a general idea of what your project should cost.
11. Does Pictured Events do graphic design or layout for catalogs or other media?
Yes, we can help you design any type of printed material and even do the printing as well. Contact us for details and sample layouts.
